PRESS RELEASE
To provide safe drinking water in one of the poor neighborhood, Dosti
Walfare Organization (DWO), has successfully installed a tube-well in
Gaju Khel, Nizam Pur, some 98kilometers south east of North West
Frontier metropolitan city, Peshawar.
Dosti Welfare Organization is a sister organization of Dosti Foundation USA.
Thanks to Mr. Arbid Orra, a veteran patron of Dosti Foundation, whom
financial support make it possible to install the well and continue
other welfare projects in Pakistan.
Dosti Foundation is thankful to Mr. Arbid Orra and others who have
been so kind as to help Dosti Foundation fulfill its mission of
education of provision of clean drinking water.
This will be worth mentioning here that in Gajukhel village; most of
the households bring water from a minimum distance of 2 kilometers.
Usually women and children carry pots to bring water on this hilly
station.
Also, there is desperate need of schools for both boys and girls,
especially for girls in this and the surrounding villages.
DWO is going to start a school in Gajukhel, which will start working
on 1st September 2006.
