Mrs. Corinna Chunaco-Dadivas, Head of Assesment and Monitoring from
'Church World Service (CWS)' is handing-over certificate of course
complitionand at Construction Trade Training Centre (CTTC) Battagram, some 130 Km from Mansehra.
Mr. Aijaz Ahmad, Acting Chairman of 'Dosti Welfare Organization (DWO)'
was also present on the occasion.
With the help of CWS, Dosti Welfare Organization has arranged training
at CTTC Battagram, where 56 students has been successfully complited
their trade training in four different trades (Maison, Carpenter,
Electrician and Plumber).
In CTTC project, the overall number of sucessful traines are 252.
While more than 40 percent of the traines has got the job in different
NGO's and in other public sector organizations.
Since the reconstruction phase has been started in earthquake affected
area the skilled labour shortage is basic problem. With the help of
CTTC, Dosti has produced skilled labour which is a real and valueable
assest.
